Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah signed a new contract to extend his eight -year stay in Anfield, the Premier League club announced on Friday.
“Of course, I am very excited. We have an excellent team now. Before, we had a big team. But I signed because I think we are lucky to win other trophies and enjoy my football,” said Salah in a statement.
“It’s great, I spent my best years here. I played eight years, I hope it is going to be 10 years old. By enjoying my life here, enjoying my football. I spent the best years of my career.
“I would like to say to (fans), I am very, very happy to be here. I have signed here because I think we can earn a lot of great trophies. Continue to support us and we will give our best, and I hope in the future, we will win more trophies. ”
