Northern Italy on high alert due to floods
The meteorological system pours heavy rain on northern Italy, including the regions of Piedmont, South Tyrol and Lombardy, causing floods.
In the city of Valdagno, a car swept away by flood waters killed a father and a son.
In the Piedmont region, a 92 -year -old was discovered dead Thursday by firefighters after the flood of his house. The Piedmont allocated 5 million euros ($ 5.7 million) in emergency aid due to the storm.
