Dead Rising Fans Accuse Capcom of 'Censoring' Deluxe Remaster

Fans Are Upset That A Virtual Woman Isn’t Sexy Enough… Again

It’s a sad day for those who have never seen a woman in real life as a group of fans have accused Capcom of censoring the upcoming Died with a start remaster.

First released in 2006, the original Died with a start was the first entry in the long-running series that follows photojournalist Frank West after he finds himself trapped in a zombie-infested mall.

With four titles in the main series as well as several spin-offs and remakes, Capcom recently revealed that it would be releasing a remaster for the 2006 game. Died with a start which fans were initially delighted with.

However, they are now less enthusiastic due to a discovery surrounding Cheryl, a character Frank meets in the original game.

It is safe to say that his role in Died with a start The game was meant to appeal to both Frank and the player, with the latter being able to get an “erotic” bonus by photographing her in seductive poses. Cheryl’s outfit, consisting of a strappy dress, fishnet tights and heels, was also perfect.

However, it seems that in the coming years Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Cheryl got a little makeover with a less revealing dress and the removal of those fishnet tights.

As a result, some fans (I’m sure you know the ones) are less than thrilled about this situation and have taken to Twitter to share their frustrations.

“Why don’t these companies want to show women how many of them dress?” one person asked.

Another said: “This is the norm at this point, which is why no one should buy remasters.”

However, another fan sarcastically said: “Oooh noooo, now you can’t jerk off to the video game.”

THE Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is set to be released on September 19, 2024, so it won’t be long before you can see this “censorship” in real life.
