They won the Europa Conference League in spectacular fashion as Jarrod Bowen’s 90th-minute strike secured the club their first European trophy in 58 years and their first major title since 1980.
The chants “champions of Europe, we know what we are” sung by those lucky enough to be present at the Fortuna Arena in Prague were performed with more than a little cheeky chappy cockney humor, but we’ll drop them this time.
For a number of reasons, this great club which produced English football greats including Bobby Moore, Trevor Brooking and Billy Bonds has been starved of success in recent years.

But before any transfer drama happens, he will join West Ham in their open-top bus parade on Thursday night, which will roll through the streets of east London from 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, former player and now club sporting director Mark Noble, who could be seen holding back tears after the final whistle, revealed that Pablo Fornals is getting married on Friday…
