Leah added: “As hilarious and wise as David continues to be, he is physically weakened and his care goes beyond what we are able to provide without specialized professional help.”
For his part, David also provided an update, stressing that the seriousness of the situation replaces his desire to manage his health difficulties for himself.
“We have lived with my illness for a long time, still having fun, seeing friends and family, continue,” David said in a statement published in Roller February 10, “but that plummets the day after Thanksgiving has really brought us to a whole new level of debilitation.”
He added: “It is the worst pain that I have never known in my whole life. I have never been the type to ask for help, but it is an emergency. THANKS.”
