Bill Belichick’s clumsy interview and Jordon Hudson crawl the skin of Dave Portnoy.
Portnoy said the atrocious interview interrupted its typical coffee routine and “CBS on Sunday morning”.
“Imagine my surprise this morning when they had the most clumsy interview of Bill Belichick that I have ever seen,” said Portnoy on the podcast “Barstool Rundown”. “I wore myself in my seat.”
The long -standing story of how the couple met was that they were on an airplane in 2021 when Hudson asked Belichick to sign his manual. But when Belichick was questioned about this in the interview, Hudson strangely and somewhat aggressively rejected the subject.
Now questions have arisen on the legitimacy of this story and the dynamics of their relationship.
But Portnoy’s discomfort with all of this was not only the answer to Hudson’s clumsy stop to a question about how the polarizing couple met.
He was particularly amazed when the interview showed photos of Belichick and Hudson of Halloween.
“I do not know if he knew that someone else had seen these photos,” said the founder of Barstool Sports. “I literally wore myself. Then he became viral mad. People say he’s like being held hostage. I don’t think he always knows what social media is and that these photos are there. ”
The 73-year-old North Carolina football coach has always been known for his attitude of conflict towards the media in his career in the NFL with the Patriots, therefore this mega-viral relationship with Hudson, 24, is an unknown territory.
Although Belichick never liked the media, he has always been prepared for what was going to follow. Until this time with Hudson’s strange reaction to the question of the interviewer on the meeting of the two.
“He was a guy who never cared about what someone thought,” said the fan of the Patriots Portnoy about Belichick. “But I have never seen it apparently amazed in an interview, like” Oh my God, I can’t believe you asked for that. “I have never seen it.
Portnoy said Hudson had the wrong idea when she became a defensive surrounding the issue.
“(CBS on Sunday morning) not (a) controversial (platform). These interviews are positive,” he said. “They are never supposed to be, like, an ounce of (all that is negative), that is why I was amazed.”
Hudson responded to the whole drama by publishing an email that Belichick sent that strangely was focused on promoting his next book.
No matter what comes from all this, it is sure to say that things become weird.
Many Belichick friends “already shake their heads,” said an initiate in the post.
