Dave Allen loses more than two stone in impressive body transformation ahead of comeback fight as FightZone partners with talkSPORT Boxing

Dave Allen is ready to return to the ring as he attempts to revive his boxing career.

The popular heavyweight has not boxed since losing to Frazer Clarke last year, but will now make his return on a FightZone show, which will be live on the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube channel.

Allen lost more than two stone and said: “Six weeks ago I decided to go back to the gym and train like I would train the guys. 34 days ago I decided I wanted to live a healthier, more active life for my children and today I am 29 pounds lighter and feel like a new man.

“A big thank you to my old man who comes to train me twice a week, a big thank you to the Catterall team who invited me to Tenerife and who allowed me to continue.

“It’s not about boxing and this is just the beginning, I’m fighting a week today and I’ll fight again after that, everything is good with new goals to achieve.

“Boxing used me for years, now I’m going to use boxing to get the best six pack ever.”
