Davante Adams says his preferred NFL destination would be if the Raiders traded him

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams made it clear this week that he has no intention of being traded, with his agent calling the allegations “baseless speculation.”

Adams did admit, however, that if there was one team, or one person, that could convince him to leave Las Vegas, it would be his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The duo played eight seasons together for the Green Bay Packers.

This comes after Rodgers fueled trade rumors over the weekend, making a comment about playing “again” with his former Packers teammate. Adams was specifically linked to a rapprochement with Rodgers and the New York Jets before his agent shut down the rumor on Tuesday.

“If I was going to be reunited with anyone, it would be with Aaron, or relocated anywhere, it would be with Aaron,” Adams told the site. Club Shay Shay podcast. “Last year, there was a lot of media coverage of everything and nothing that didn’t involve me. It eventually got to the point where people thought I was the driving force.”

Adams reiterated in his comment that he is staying with the Raiders. He is entering his third of five seasons for which he signed in March 2022. In his first two seasons in Las Vegas, he has totaled 203 passes for 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns.
