Daughter’s Graduation Missing Amid Grand Jury News, Diddy Also Missed Prom

Diddy he’s missing some key milestones for his kids as his legal troubles pile up — and this week, he’ll be MIA for the last one, involving his 17-year-old daughter Chance.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… Chance is set to don his cap and gown Thursday for graduation from Sierra Canyon School here in the Los Angeles area – and even though we tells us that other family members are flying in for the ceremony, her father will not be in attendance.

We’re told Diddy has already communicated this news to the family, although he hasn’t given an exact reason for his absence – but it can’t be that shocking to them.

We’re told the family suspects it has to do with all his legal problems these days, and his desire to keep a low profile. It makes sense…if Diddy showed up, this could easily turn into a spectacle that would steal the spotlight from Chance.

Now, to find out who exactly will be at Chance’s graduation… our sources say some of his half-siblings are expected to be there, as are some of his siblings. Kim PorterFamily too. Diddy shares Chance with Sarah Chapman.

BTW, Chance isn’t the only kid he has in high school right now — Jessie And D’Lilathe twins he had with Kim, are juniors who went to prom a few weeks ago… an event Diddy also missed, because he’s staying in Miami.

It should be noted that Diddy has been a very involved parent with his children over the years, especially with the girls, who were actually with him when the raids were interrupted in March.

You’ll remember, he was getting ready to take them on spring break when the feds intercepted his private jet in Florida. Since then, he has remained at home in or near Miami.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … that federal authorities have not restricted his movements in any way.

Translation: Him missing out on big moments for his kids is entirely his choice, not something forced by law enforcement.

The fact is that Diddy could be about to be charged, and while he’s tried to carry on as normally as possible… it’s honestly a precarious time, and it seems like he’s trying to avoid dragging his kids into the drama.

For now, the girls will rely on support from other family members, and for Diddy… there’s always Zoom or FaceTime.
