Darren Helm’s first playoff goal sends Avs to Western Conference Finals

Avalanche center Darren Helm hit the jackpot for Colorado in Game 6 against the Blues.

With the game tied 2-2 in the dying seconds of the third period, Helm caught a bank pass on the boards and scored the game-winning goal with five seconds left in the game.

His first playoff goal was a humdinger and came at the right time for Colorado, which advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years.
