Dana White shrugs off potential lawsuit after watching Arman Tsarukyan punch fan at UFC 300

Few things could dampen Dana White’s morale at UFC 300 and he even shrugged off a possible lawsuit.

The UFC CEO was in seventh heaven after hosting a historic night of fights, which included Max Holloway’s “greatest knockout of all time”, in Las Vegas on Saturday.

However, UFC 300 was marred by a horrific incident involving Arman Tsarukyan.

The lightweight contender got into a fight with a fan as he made his way to the Octagon ahead of his fight with former champion Charles Oliveira.

Footage from inside the T-Mobile Arena showed Tsarukyan punching a fan before recording the biggest win of his career minutes later.

He was seen lunging at another fan, as Jon Anik said in commentary: “A few skirmishes there with fans.

“Looks like Arman Tsarukyan is getting into a conversation with someone arriving tonight.”

Daniel Cormier added: “Yeah, it’s crazy to see him do that.

“You want to be so locked in. It must be something that matters to Arman, what happened to him on the way to the Octagon.”

Despite his wild behavior before the fight, Tsarukyan managed to survive several submission attempts and earn a split decision victory over “Do Bronx.”

Even the possibility of being prosecuted for Tsarukyan's actions did not bother him.

The Armenian fighter immediately called for a shot at lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, who beat him by unanimous decision in their April 2019 clash.

White quickly confirmed that a rematch would not happen anytime soon by confirming that Makhachev would face Dustin Poirier in June before also announcing Conor McGregor’s return date.

The MMA mogul was asked his reaction to Tsarukyan’s fight with a fan and since he was in a very good mood, he gave a hilarious answer.

“Yeah, you might not want to lean into that thing and grab people as they’re coming out,” White said during his UFC 300 post-fight press conference.

“These guys are all excited and it doesn’t matter.

“We’re probably going to get sued, we’ll deal with that on Monday as well.”
