Dakota Johnson Just Made an Ultra-Rare Appearance for Chris Martin Amid Breakup Rumors

Throughout 2024, we’ve heard some pretty crazy things about Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin’s private relationship. We heard they broke up, their engagement was in jeopardy because of their exes, and more. When Johnson didn’t attend Moses’ graduation, many feared the rumors were true. But no, the couple has just denied all these rumors with a subtle appearance.

On June 29, during Coldplay’s concert at the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom, many eagle-eyed fans noticed a familiar face in the crowd.

In photos obtained by People, many saw that during a live broadcast of the event, Johnson was watching Martin from the stands!

This isn’t the first time they’ve used this method to quell breakup rumors. In June 2023, while Coldplay was performing in Naples, Italy, Martin came over to say “hello” to Johnson in the VIP box, to which she gave an adorable wave in return, reminding everyone that they were so in love.

Johnson frequently attends Martin’s shows, and this subtle one is the perfect reminder that their relationship is stronger than ever.

For those who don’t know, the lovebirds started dating in 2017 after being introduced by mutual friends. They only confirmed their relationship a year later and moved in together in 2021. Earlier in 2024, they were rumored to be engaged and while neither has made any public comment on the matter, many sources claim that this is the case.

In a previous interview with Bustle, she gave rare details about their romance, explaining how much she loves watching him perform. “I love watching it. I could watch him every day. I do not know how to explain it. I feel like I don’t know… I’m watching my favorite person doing what he loves best. When people are really good at things, it’s (sexy.)”

Now, will Johnson ever reveal intimate details about their love story to us? Probably not.

In a recent interview with SheKnows for her new film DadJohnson has spoken about how she’s a “safe,” and that’s just with her co-star Sean Penn!

“I’ve learned so much and I’ll never tell,” she said of Penn. “I know things people on the internet would like to know. I’m a safe.”
