Curtis Jones warmed the heart with an overview of his personality behind the scenes – and it’s just as you can imagine.
The Liverpool star was largely congratulated for her humor dealing with a young Everton fan following the Merseyside derby.
Jones started back to Anfield when the Reds ended a 1-0 victory on Wednesday evening to restore their 12-point lead against Arsenal in the Premier League.
And Thursday, a video was published by Jones taking unexpected flaks of a young Everton fan in a service station.
Jones had looked and smiled – even by blinking a boost – for what he supposed to be a photo with the young football fanatic.
But he turned out to be an intelligent ruse of the young person who, after having trapped Jones in his camera, capitalized with an inconsistent song: ‘Kopites are Gobs *****, Duh Duh Duh!’
Curtis Jones was congratulated for the way he treated with an Everton fan who made fun of singing him “ kopites are gobs ***** ”
But Jones had the last laugh after Liverpool beat Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby
At this stage, Jones, 24, had two possible routes: either to take ridicule on the chin, or react as a celebrity entitled.
But it was never in doubt. Jones unleashed himself laughing and with a smile on his face, and continued to take the song of the child with a good nature.
While Jones returned to his car, the fan gave him the double finger treatment and continued his mockery: “Shut up, boy, you little mink!” Kopites are mops *****! ‘
Obviously, the boy appreciated the playful nature of Jones, while he smiled throughout the video and laughed at himself.
“It’s the TBF class,” wrote a spectator on X.
“Fair Play in Jones. This is what jokes should be, “wrote another.
“Fair play everything here. The boy gave him and Jones taking him as he should, ” said one of them.
“Hahaha I like how much Jonesy respected this child to make it Yeno, what a boy!” Another wrote.
“Good sport that Curtis,” said.
Fans of all allegiances were quick to respect Jones for his humor with the young
Jones spent his hearing on the right back with flying colors in Anfield, in a game that will give Arne Slot Food for reflection, in particular with the potential rental of Alexander-Arnold in Real Madrid in summer.
He completed 68 of the 73 assists, won three of the five duels and won the possession six times.
“Curtis was excellent,” said Andy Robertson. “He played a very good match, he is such a smart footballer. We were joking yesterday – he played on the left, as n ° 10, an attacker, an n ° 6, a n ° 8 and a right back.
“It shows how smart he is, he took the game in his stride. So comfortable on the ball and well defended too.
Slot added: “It was not something that happened last week, it is something that we thought a little longer. The first half of the season was moments we talked about with him. I thought he could have done this or do it in a few moments.
“Three full backs are injured, so it’s a choice to play a central back, but we felt that to have a chance to win the game, we had to play better than in the outside game. A risk of playing there as a midfielder, but I thought he could help with creativity.
“He did very well defensively, a strong performance on his part and pleasant to have another option.”
