Crying mother’s dark viral past revealed by ex-husband in scathing video

A 29-year-old mother who was thrust into the spotlight after a viral TikTok about the struggles of single motherhood has hit back at her ex in a heated war of words.

Elizabeth Teckenbrock’s original TikTok showed her sobbing while she baked her own birthday cake so her kids could sing happy birthday to her.

The heartbreaking video struck a chord with viewers and it quickly went viral.

“Being a single mom means baking your own birthday cake on your birthday so your babies can feel happy singing to you,” Teckenbrock said.

But Ms. Teckenbrock’s ex-husband, Andrew Cormier, 37, said he had full custody of their children, painting a very different picture of her life.

He also claimed that she barely saw the couple’s children because she often went out partying.

According to him, Ms. Teckenbrock’s followers on social networks are being misled.

“Right now, I have full custody of our children. This is our parental consent. As you can see, I share every day of the week and weekend with the children during school holidays,” Mr. Cormier said.

“People who follow her congratulate her and show her how strong she is and how amazing she is, she’s fine, she’s definitely not a full-time mom. She barely has her children. She goes out all the time.

The drama intensified when Ms. Teckenbrock accused Mr. Cormier of stopping her from seeing their children on her birthday after she attended a dinner with friends.

“He said, ‘No, you’ve made the decision to go to dinner, you’re not going to see them on your birthday.'”

The young mother debunked Mr. Cormier’s allegations, declaring that she was “a good mother.”

“I will proudly say, without a doubt, that I know who I am. I know that I am a good mother, that I love my children,” Ms. Teckenbrock said in a follow-up video.

She admitted to past mistakes, including a fraud arrest confirmed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

“I have made mistakes in my life, yes. I was arrested, it’s not something I didn’t even deny,” she said.

Ms. Teckenbrock further explained the context of her arrest, which she said occurred during a tumultuous time after the divorce.

“I went through some really bad mental things when I was about a year away from divorce. And then when I left, even worse, I went out all the time, I made a lot of mistakes,” she said.

“My whole page never talked about him. I never cared, never wanted to bring him down, no matter how much pain I felt, but I also got to the point last week where I had no choice to fight back.

In a moving interview with News weekMs Tecenbrock revealed it was her first birthday spent alone away from her family.

“I was so upset at that moment. To be honest, I don’t like cakes. It was everything to them,” she said.
