Croatian model Ivana Knoll, dubbed the ‘sexiest fan’ at the Qatar World Cup, expressed her disappointment on Instagram after Croatia’s hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of Euro 2024 fell through only by a thread.
His side were held to a draw by Italy on Monday night, after Mattia Zaccagni’s equalizer in the eighth minute of injury time canceled out Luka Modric’s second-half goal that gave Croatia the lead.
Had Croatia managed to hold on, they would have finished ahead of Italy in Group B and booked their place in the round of 16.
With Croatia picking up just two points and a goal difference of minus three, it looks like they are in danger of missing out on a place in the round of 16 as one of the better third-placed teams.
Right now, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia all look set to progress, but Croatia can still qualify if England beat Slovenia by four goals or more on Tuesday night.

Knoll posted a photo of herself inside the stadium before the game with the caption, “We’re ready.”
But after the match, she reacted to the nerve-wracking draw against Italy by posting a video of the players on the pitch with a ‘vomiting emoji’.
Knoll was disappointed by the outcome, posting an Instagram story of the scenes inside Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena at full time, adding a “vomiting face emoji” to the story.
The 31-year-old model, who first gained fame and followers on social media for attending Croatia’s matches at the 2022 World Cup in skimpy outfits, has been in Germany following her team throughout the group stages.
Knoll had arrived inside the Leipzig stadium early, looking like he had been filmed as part of a television program in the stands.
She posted several clips of herself on her Instagram Story wearing a red and white plaid top, while posing for a camera before later posting a preview of the clip on her Instagram Story.
The Croatian has three million followers on Instagram, also operates a swimwear brand and is a DJ.
She was seen enjoying the atmosphere inside the Red Bull Arena alongside other Croatian fans, with supporters chanting and waving pyrotechnics in the air.
She also uploaded a video before the match, enjoying the atmosphere in the streets of Leipzig with hundreds of other Croatian fans.
In the music video, Knoll was seen dancing alongside a group of musicians dressed in Croatian football jerseys while playing guitar.

Before the match, Knoll was seen being recorded by a cameraman for a television broadcast.

Knoll recently criticized German TV presenter Laura Wontorra and TV channel MagentaTV after Croatia’s 3-0 defeat to Spain in Berlin, after taking part in an interview with the TV channel.
It appears some allegations were made regarding Knoll’s choice of clothing, with the Croatian complaining that it was cold during the interview despite her wearing a bikini top.
In a bizarre tirade, Knoll posted several messages on Instagram lashing out at Wontorra and Magenta TV, writing: “Dear Laura, if I looked like that I would only wear winter clothes forever.”
“The most unprofessional television ever. Teach your presenters the culture of the show and never invite me for an interview again,” she said, signing off her post with a thumbs-down emoji.
Knoll is a former Miss Croatia and has over three million followers on Instagram
Ivana Knoll, the World Cup’s ‘sexiest fan’, has revealed her heartbreak over Grealish not making the England squad.
Knoll also revealed earlier in June that she was single again after splitting from her boyfriend of 10 years.
She told BILD: “I had a boyfriend who I was with for 10 years. We broke up last year. Now I’m single, but I’m not looking for a new man at the moment.
Knoll had also said she was sad to see Jack Grealish left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the tournament in Germany.
“I’m sad that England didn’t select the best team, but as a Croatia fan I’m happy.” Knoll told The Sun. “With (Kylian) Mbappe not playing and all these other big players not playing, we have a bigger chance.”
