Craig Bellamy is not surprised that Many United be interested in signing Liam Delap, but warned the 22 -year -old that he could better stay in Ipswich.
Delap won admirers by scoring 12 goals for tractors with relegation from the signing of Manchester City for 20 million pounds sterling last summer.
Man United made Delap his No. 1 goal of the attacker this summer and is ready to trigger his release clause of around 40 million pounds sterling if Ipswich is relegated to the Premier League.
The boss of Wales, Bellamy, has kept an attentive eye on Delap, especially when he trained in Burnley, and explained why the star of England U21 attracted such an interest before even ending his first season in the elite.
“I watched it a lot,” Bellamy told Sky Sports.
“Obviously, I was aware of its progress in Manchester City. But we (Burnley) met him on loan. He was loaned to Stoke and Preston. It was not so easy for him, but you could see a young player developing.

“One thing you have removed is that it has a little of everything.
“He’s quick, he seems to be behind. He can secure the ball, he can put others into play.
“It is very disinterested that I also liked in him. You can say that it has gone through this type of City man mentality.
“It was a very great year for him. Doing it at the highest level as he did in a team to combat relegation at the moment is not always easy.
Bellamy also revealed that he had tried to sign Delap de Man City when he was an acting coach from Burnley, but was Gazzumbed by Ipswich, linked to the Premier League.
The 45 -year -old man expects another auction war for Delap, but advised the young attacker that he could better remain under the supervision of Kieran McKenna.
When asked if there will be queue clubs wishing to sign Delap, Bellamy said: “Without the shadow of a doubt.
