NEWPORT BEACH-The Volleyball Garçons team from Corona del Mar defeated Beckman in four sets, 26-24, 25-17, 17-25, 25-17, Tuesday in a billiard game match 1 of the Southern 1 section.
The victory implemented a bigger match on Saturday.
The Sea Kings will play Mira Costa during the last round of the swimming pool on Saturday. The two teams are 2-0 in the A swimming pool A. The winner goes to the Championship match of Division 1.
Corona del Mar played Mira Costa twice this season. Mira Costa won these two games, 2-1 in a tournament and 3-0. The other defeats of the SEA Kings were vis-à-vis teams in the playoffs, two in Huntington Beach in the Sunset League and one in Loyola in a free game.
