Conagra inflation warning should worry food investors


Food companies still haven’t caught up with inflation.

That’s according to quarterly results released Thursday by Conagra Brands, maker of Duncan Hines cake mixes and Marie Callender frozen meals. For its third fiscal quarter ended Feb. 27, the company reported strong organic sales growth, which excludes acquisitions and currency movements, of 6% year-on-year.
