Commission Statement Regarding Referral of Instant Complaint to DOJ

The Federal Trade Commission has issued a statement regarding the referral of a complaint against Snap Inc., which operates the Snapchat app, to the Department of Justice.

In a closed-door meeting, the Commission voted 3-0-2 to authorize the release of the statement. Commissioners Melissa Holyoak and Andrew Ferguson were listed as absent. Commissioner Ferguson issued a statement on the matter.
