A woman suspected of involvement in a shooting in Commerce City earlier this month has been arrested, police said.
Destenie Edwards, 24, was taken into custody around 5 p.m. Wednesday in the East 88th Avenue and Washington Street area, police said. FBI Street Safety Task Force and Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested the suspect.
A woman was injured in a March 10 road rage incident that escalated into a shooting in the 6200 block of Kearney Street, police said.
Edwards, who was considered armed and dangerous, was wanted on a warrant for attempted murder. The victim in the case was taken by ambulance to a local hospital on the day of the shooting.
