The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended their week of Wild Card preparations with five players on the injury report listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against Washington, but all five have been cleared to play. That included the only player Head Coach Todd Bowles identified as a question mark on Friday, tight end Cade Otton. Otton, who started the first 14 games of the regular season and was the team’s second-leading receiver, will return on Sunday after missing three games due to a knee injury.
As Bowles indicated would be the case on Friday, the Buccaneers’ secondary is getting two very valuable pieces back with the returns of safety Antoine Winfield Jr. and cornerback Jamel Dean. Both had knee injuries, and Winfield missed the last four games of the regular season while Dean was out for the Week 18 contest against New Orleans. Defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin) and safety Mike Edwards (quadriceps) were the other two players labeled as questionable on the injury report.
The Buccaneers and Commanders submitted their list of inactives at 6:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff of their Wild Card round game at Raymond James Stadium. After elevating linebacker Deion Jones and wide receiver Tanner Knue from the practice squad on Saturday, the Buccaneers had 55 available players and thus had to name seven inactives to get down to the game-day limit of 48.
None of the Buccaneers’ inactive players are out due to injury.
None of the Commanders’ inactive players are out due to injury.
