Stephen joined ESPN in 2022, covering the Indianapolis colts and the NFL as a whole. Stephen finished first place in the editorial staff of columns in the competition of the editors of the Associated Media 2015 media in 2015, and he is a previous winner of the TOP-10 in explanatory journalism at the National Sports Editors Competition of Associated Press. He has chronicle the NFL since 2005, covering the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay from 2005 to 2013 and the colts since 2013. He has already worked for Miami Herald, Tampa Bay Times, Indianapolis Star and The Athletic.

Indianapolis – The attempt by the lightness colts brought them into a situation that does not laugh.

The colts, like most NFL teams, compiled a video to accompany their release from regular season calendar on Wednesday evening, but suddenly withdrawn it from social platforms on Wednesday evening for several reasons, the team said.

“We deleted our calendar publication video because it has exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving the Tyreek Hill dolphins recipient. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek,” the team said in a statement in ESPN on Thursday.

The video, which was intended to be a parody of the popular video game Minecraft, revealed the opening of the team’s season against Miami with an image of a dolphin wearing a n ° 10 jersey and labeled “Hill” swimming before it was stopped by a coastal guard boat with a blatant mermaid.

Hill was involved in a controversial incident with Miami-Dade deputies last September when he arrived for a home game. Hill was dragged by his vehicle, taken to the ground and handcuffed. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, then called the officers involved. The circulation quotes issued against Hill were then abandoned.

As for the violation of Microsoft’s rights, it is probably linked to the fact that Minecraft belongs to Microsoft and images identical to those of the game were used in the video of the colts. Los Angeles loaders used similar content in their time publication video, but showed a warning indicating that they had the permission of Microsoft.

It is not known if the colts have requested such an authorization from the company.
