The 2025 college football season continues Saturday with plenty of marquee games scheduled for Week 7. Twenty of the teams currently ranked in the latest AP Top 25 poll will be in action, including three ranked matchups as the season’s midpoint approaches.
The fun begins in the Big Ten when No. 1 Ohio State takes on No. 17 Illinois on the road during the noon ET window. At the same time, No. 8 Alabama will look to build on wins over Georgia and Vanderbilt when it takes on No. 14 Missouri in a game that’s bound to have major College Football Playoff implications.
No. 7 Indiana takes on No. 3 Oregon on CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET in the only game of the weekend between teams ranked in the top 10. Also during this afternoon window, No. 6 Oklahoma takes on Texas in the final chapter of the Red River Rivalry. The Sooners could receive a boost if star quarterback John Mateer, who missed last week’s game against Kent State after undergoing hand surgery last month, is available against the Longhorns.
The best game of the late window will see No. 15 Michigan travel west to face USC. No. 10 Georgia will also be in action against Auburn for the latest chapter in the Deep South’s oldest rivalry.
