Colleen Hoover’s book Verity becomes a film

Another Colleen Hoover The book gets the big screen treatment.

Just three months before the premiere of Blake Lively-with It ends with usthe film adaptation of the author’s bestselling 2016 novel of the same name, another film based on his standalone thriller Truth is in the works at Amazon MGM Studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hoover also confirmed the project by sharing the article on his Instagram Story on May 1.

However, neither the cast nor the director have been announced. THR reports that Hillary Seitz-the screenwriter behind nail biters such as Insomnia, Sharp eye And The unforgivable– is currently writing the screenplay. In the meantime, Nicolas Antosca And Alex Hedlund would be attached as producers.

First self-published by Hoover in 2018, Truth follows Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who is hired by the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford to finish her remaining novels while she is in a coma following a mysterious accident. At work, Lowen discovers Verity’s unfinished memoir which is full of chilling details about her secret life, including what really happened to her late daughter. As Lowen begins to develop feelings for Verity’s husband, she must try to separate fiction from the family’s complex reality.
