Cole Palmer missed a penalty for the first time in the Premier League during the first half of Chelsea’s confrontation with Leicester Ion on Sunday.
The Blues star marked 12 out of 12 in the place before the match at Stamford Bridge, but was refused by Mads Hermansen in the middle of the first half.
The Englishman tried to put the ball at the bottom right, but the plug of the Foxes plunged the right way to keep his effort.
England International Palmer, which scored 27 goals and scored 15 assists in a campaign in small groups last season, failed to score in its last eight games in all competitions and has missed a certain promising number of chances in recent matches.
“When you score a goal, you are happier, because your goals help the team to win. But overall, Cole is fine. He’s happy, ” told Maresca to journalists.
“He knows that he had a hard time scoring goals right now, but that it is something normal that during the season could happen.
“Watch him during the training session, you don’t think that affects him, he’s fantastic.”
