Cold weather of the weekend expected in southern California with a chance of rain – the County Orange register

A significant charging time is expected this weekend while a storm at the end of the season grows in the south of California, bringing a wind, a cloudy sky and a slight chance of rain.

From Friday, the dramatic cooling trend could strike the region with colder temperatures than the average and a chance of 10% thunderstorms planned for the County of Los Angeles. Temperatures will be around 10 degrees colder than the average for the county, where the summits are normally in the 70s medium for areas such as the city center of Los Angeles.

Temperatures could drop another 10 to 15 degrees this weekend, starting with peaks in the 70s and 80s on Friday and reaching the mid-60s on Sunday. Mountain and desert communities could see up to 30 degrees of temperature, officials said.

On Saturday afternoon, National Weather Service meteorologist, Dr. Robbie Munroe, said widespread gusts will make the weekend “even colder” before getting the payment on Sunday evening. Wind gusts could reach peaks from 30 to 50 mph.

A 20% chance of showers can bring up to a tenth in thumb or even a quarter of a thumb in mountain areas on Saturday and Sunday, although the forecasters say that it is unlikely that it is a lot.

The National Weather Service published a flood opinion for the north of the county of Ventura and the parties of the far northwest of the county of La Untre Thursday evening. This includes the city of Gorman along the Interstate 5, which can see the debris flow from burning scars after last year’s fires.

In the County of Orange and the Interior Empire, a widespread naval layer will be based by Friday afternoon before returning later in the evening. Friday and Saturday could see heights in the 1960s superior to the drop in the 1970s for most areas. The interior empire will see the hottest temperatures on Friday, with 80 degrees planned for Hemet and 79 degrees in Lake Elsenore and San Bernardino.

The tops will enter the mid -60s on Sunday and Monday, which should be the coldest days. There are 15 to 25% chance that the showers took place on Monday, with medium gusts culminating around 20 to 25 MPH in the inner empire and slightly less in the county of Orange, with forecasts of 18 MPH for Anaheim and 21 MPH in Irvine.

“Just light things, up to about a tenth in about thumb,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Stefanie Sullivan.
