Coffee, Barista drinks including Oatly, Intelligentsia, Stumptown among dozens of drinks recalled for possible microbial contamination

Fifty-three nutritional products and beverages, including Premier Protein shakes and certain cold brew coffee beverages, are being recalled due to possible microbial contamination, according to an alert from the US Food and Drug Administration. United States.

Food company Lyons Magnus LLC has announced a voluntary recall of 53 products due to possible microbial contamination, including the organism Cronobacter sakazakii. Infections with the organism in question are rare, but vulnerable and immunocompromised populations may be more susceptible, according to the FDA. No illnesses or complaints were reported.

The products, which have been distributed nationwide, include Aloha, Glucerna, Intellignista, MRE Protein Shakes, Oatly and Pirq branded items.
