The American Coast Guard intercepted a pair of boats last weekend off the coast of San Diego, and more than 30 Mexican nationals on board were detained, said the agency.
The first ship, an alleged smuggling ship, was detected for the first time around 11 p.m. Friday, about 27 miles west of San Diego.
Customs and the protection of American border and navy planes watched the boat, which crossed the maritime border of the United States-Mexico around 7 a.m.
The ship has crossed the American contiguous area, a region that extends 24 miles from the coast, around 10:35 am
A boat crew rose aboard the ship and located eight Mexican nationals on board.
Images released by the Coast Guard of what seems to be a worn camera of the body shows a coastal guard officer aboard the boat with his shot.
He tells those who are on board in Spanish to put his hand on his head.
People on board were transferred to the Guard of the American Department of Internal Security.
A day later, at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, a coastal guard cutter intercepted a 45 -foot boat to 6 miles off Loma.
The ship was embarked and 19 Mexican nationals, including a boy and a girl, were located.
They were transferred to the Border Patrol guard.
