Zelensky, addressing journalists on Friday after the meeting, said that the mission format could be finalized “in about a month”, where discussions include the presence of troops “on the ground, in the air and at sea”.
“We discuss the presence on the field, in the air and at sea, as well as the air defense. And other delicate questions. We will meet each week, and I think that we will meet each week at the level of our (high) military personnel. Where, in which the places – this is discussed separately,” said Zelensky, according to the new local Ukrainka Pravda.
Zelensky referred to a basic consensus on deployment, but said that there were “sensitive geographic problems” that require support.
Zelensky added that the Ukrainian side was represented by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, Chief of General Staff Andriy Hnatov, deputy chief of the presidential office Pavlo Palisa and Deputy Minister of Defense Yevhen Moisiuk.
