The chief minister of Mizoram and chief of the National Front of Mizo, Zoramthanga, voted while the state of the northeast went on Tuesday.

According to reports, Zoramthanga could not vote earlier in the morning due to a technical problem in the machine.
“The CM was, in the morning, went to the primary school station in Ramhlun Venglai, but the EVM did not work at that time. He therefore returned home and returned to 9:40 am to exercise his franchise, “said Mizoram’s additional election director H. Lianzela.
Until 9 a.m., Mizoram’s condition recorded more than 17% of electoral participation. Lianzela said the survey had been “peaceful and that there has been no law and order problem so far”.
More than 8.57 Lakh voters, including 4.39 Lakh women, are eligible for exercising their deductible to decide on the electoral fate of 174 candidates.
The National Front of Mizo in power (MNF), the main popular movement of the opposition Zoram (ZPM) and the Congress presented candidates in all seats. The BJP presents itself in 23 constituencies, while the AAM AADMI (AAP) party has appointed candidates in four assembly segments.
Apart from that, there are 27 independent candidates.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged voters from Mizoram and Chattisgarh to exercise their right to franchise.
“I call Mizoram’s people to vote in record number. I particularly urge young people and new voters to exercise their deductible and strengthen the Festival of Democracy, “said Modi.
