Peacock develops a monitoring series at DistraughtWith Alicia Silverstone attached to resuming her emblematic role of Cher. She will also be executive producer of the project, which comes from writers Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, OC) and Jordan Weiss (Friday more bizarre). Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the 1995 film, and his producer Robert Lawrence are also EPS.
