Clint Eastwood’s youngest daughter Morgan married Tanner Koopmans earlier this month in the presence of her famous father and seven siblings.
The legendary actor, 94, walked his 27-year-old daughter, who is expecting her first child, down the aisle on June 15 at his 22-acre ranch in Carmel, California.
The “Million Dollar Baby” star wore a simple suit for the big day while the bride looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder column gown, which she paired with a handmade veil from Etsy.
“I loved that it was simple and straightforward, without a train or anything flowing,” she told People. “I bought these a few months before I got pregnant and they were able to adapt to pregnancy very easily.”
“We wanted every element to be as relaxed as possible,” she added. “I did my own makeup and hair, picked out some cheap earrings last week, and threw on a pair of velvet heels that I’ve worn before. »
The “intimate” ceremony was officiated by a close friend and one of the movie star’s grandsons served as ring bearer.
“It wasn’t all planned out and we kind of played it by ear at the last minute,” Morgan said. “It was lovely.”
After the “short and sweet” ceremony, guests proceeded to the reception, where they dined on filet mignon, halibut and butternut squash ravioli followed by a large selection of cookies and a wedding cake at vanilla.
As the couple shared their first dance to Donnie and Joe Emerson’s “Baby,” Morgan didn’t reveal whether she and her dad were on the dance floor.
However, in a photo shared on Instagram, the ‘Gran Torino’ star could be seen gently caressing his daughter’s growing baby bump.
Clint shares Morgan with his ex-wife Dina Ruiz, whom he was married to from 1996 to 2014. Ruiz was also in attendance at the wedding alongside her husband Scott Fisher.
Morgan, who got engaged to Koopmans last June, told the outlet that the 130-person wedding was “very European-inspired and so perfect.”
“I initially wanted to elope,” she revealed, “but my husband wanted a bigger party. I feel like our wedding was the perfect in-between wedding because it was as intimate as possible (with a large family like mine), but still vibrant.
“It was just immediate family members and their partners, close family friends and best friends that we’ve known forever in Carmel. »
The couple’s historic wedding venue, Mission Ranch, was preserved and restored by Clint in the late ’80s while he was still mayor of the beach town.
