BATAVIA, Ill. — Former ‘The Bachelorette’ contestant Clint Arlis has died at age 34.

His death was announced Thursday in a Tweet by his former high school wrestling coach Batavia. He was from the western suburbs of Chicago. Arlis’ sister, Taylor Lulek, announced her death on Facebook.

“It is with great sadness that I announce that my family lost my best friend and older brother Clint on the morning of January 11,” Lulek said.

Arlis, who was once a guest on “Windy City Live,” appeared on season 11 of “The Bachelorette,” which featured bachelor Kaitlyn Bristowe.

His manner of death is not yet known.
