Kansas City, MO. (AP) Noah Cameron launched in the seventh, dispersing six single as the Kansas City Royals beat Cincinnati Reds 3-2 to save the latest match in the series Wednesday evening.
Cameron (2-1) granted a race on six strokes and two balls on bullets with two stick withdrawals in 6 1/3 rounds.
Maikel Garcia chose a withdrawal from it in the fourth, extending his strike sequence at 13 games, then scored the first on Drew Waters’s deflected single.
In the fifth, John Rave doubled on the right, collecting his first safe blow from the major league and scored when Bobby Witt Jr. rebounded a double with two withdrawals inside the first basic bag for a 2-0 lead.
Witt added an insurance race with a seventh -round sacrifice fly.
Carlos Estévez withdrew two for a stop of four withdrawals, his 15th.
Among his three single, Spencer Steer delivered two strokes of RBI in the sixth and eighth.

Hunter Greene (4-3) granted two points in seven strokes and a walk with three stick withdrawals in five rounds.
Austin Hays left the game in the eighth with a contusion on foot left. He was hindered after speaking a ground of his foot in a sixth round with the stick.
Running on a 2-2 throw, Garcia scored the first when the second goal player Matt Mclain diverted Waters in the shallow right field, slamming a goalless tie.
Stephenson had 7 for 12 in the three -game series, including his first two games for three strokes of the season.
Cincinnati LHP Andrew Abbott (4-0, 1.77 ERA) opens a weekend series in Wrigley Field. Cubs are undecided on a starting launcher.
RHP Seth Lugo (3-4, 3.02) returns from the wounded list (third sprained fingers) while the Royals start a series of weekends on Friday by hosting the Tigers and RHP Casey Mize (6-1, 2.45).
