Cincinnati – The Athletics Department of the University of Cincinnati is crying for the loss of first-year football student at Jeremiah KellyWho passed unexpectedly to his residence early Tuesday morning.
“The Football Bearcates family is broken by the sudden loss of this exceptional young man,” said football coach Scott Satterfield. “In a short time, Jeremiah spent with our team, he had a real impact, both on the field and in our locker rooms. My prayers are with the Kelly family and those who had the pleasure of knowing Jérémie.”
Originally from Avon, Ohio, Kelly graduated from Avon secondary school, where he helped Eagles to a file of 16-0 and the first state championship of the school in 2024. He won the honors of the first team of all the conferences and all the districts and was appointed the wire player SWC of the year as a senior. The ordinary concessionaire ranked it among the 25 best prospects in northeast of Ohio.
Kelly was an early registration that trained with the Spring Semester Football Team.
“We have suffered a heartbreaking loss today,” said the director of athletics John Cunningham. “We all to UC send our love and our prayers to the Kelly family and we will do everything we can to support them and our students with bearcates in the difficult days and the weeks to come.”
