“Big Chuck” Schodowski was an icon of the Cleveland television landscape for decades.
CLEVELAND — Cleveland television staple Chuck Schodowski — of “Big Chuck and Lil’ John” fame — has died at the age of 90, according to a Fox 8 report.
Lil’ John’s wife, Sherry Rinaldi, also posted about Big Chuck’s passing with the following message on Facebook Monday morning:
“So sad to say that Big Chuck from the Big Chuck and Lil John series passed away last night,” Rinaldi wrote. “He was a wonderful and talented man. The Rinaldi family would not have had all of our wonderful opportunities without him.”
He also appeared on the “Hoolihan and Big Chuck Show,” which began in the 1960s.
In 2013, he published a book called “Big Chuck!” My Favorite Stories from 47 Years of Cleveland TV.”
