Christine Quinn calls cops over claim her husband, Christian Richard, bugged her hotel room
Christine Quinn feared that her ex-husband, Christian Richard, was secretly spying on her after his arrest for domestic violence, so she called the police earlier this week, Page Six can confirm.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tells us the “Selling Sunset” alum called them shortly before midnight Tuesday and claimed the tech entrepreneur had bugged his hotel room .
When police arrived at the hotel in West Hollywood, California, we were told that they found no evidence of criminal activity and therefore no official report had been taken.
The LASD representative says Quinn, 35, made the call “based on her history” with Richard. The reality TV star claimed in her restraining order filed against her ex-husband that she suffered from “extreme paranoia.”
Quinn alleged in court documents previously obtained by Page Six that Richard went so far as to take “extreme measures” to “prevent her from leaving the property to work or run errands” with their son.
“He does everything he can to isolate me and our son, including locking the front door so we physically cannot leave the property,” she added in the filing.
Quinn and Richard share a 2-year-old son, Christian George, but the LASD officer tells Page Six exclusively that the toddler was not in the hotel room when they arrived following the wiretapping claim. .
The spokesperson explains that “if there was a child”, it would be noted in their report.
Quinn and Richard’s marital problems came to light on March 18, when they got into a huge fight and the businessman — who the former Netflix star says suffers from mental health issues — allegedly threw dog feces and even “ripped off his penis” to urinate on the ground.
Quinn claimed in the documents that they had argued over his “dissatisfaction” with their relationship, including his alleged “lack of financial contribution” and his “lack of effort” to be a ” true partner.”

The argument spilled over into the next day and the reality star accused her ex-husband of throwing a bag containing a glass bottle which ultimately missed her but hit her son.
Shortly afterwards, the police were called and a barefoot Richard was arrested on March 19 at his marital home, wearing only a bathrobe. He was indicted for assault with a deadly weapon.
The cops then returned to the property with guns drawn to conduct a search of the building before its release, which we were told at the time was done when a person of interest made a call to to ensure that the location in question was safe. However, a source exclusively told Page Six that Quinn would not have made that call.
Richard – whose full legal name is Christian Richard Dumontet – was then arrested a second time hours later for violating the emergency protection order put in place following his arrest.
Meanwhile, Richard has denied all allegations against him. He instead accused Quinn of lying to police, alleging that they had actually argued first over the former model’s inability to properly train their dogs and disagreements over her working hours. their son’s nanny.
Richards’ request was denied, however, as Page Six exclusively learned Wednesday that the Los Angeles Superior Court found that his facts “did not show reasonable evidence of a past act or acts of abuse.” .
A hearing is scheduled for April 17 to determine whether a restraining order is actually necessary.
Meanwhile, Quinn has displayed a positive attitude in public. She attended an event Thursday night in Los Angeles and looked glamorous and unfazed.
However, the “Selling Sunset” alum poignantly traded in her engagement ring for a new sparkler.
Quinn and Richard married in 2019 during season 3 of her former hit reality show.
