Christina Applegate hints at her retirement from acting


Christina Applegate may have already bowed out.

The actress, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the spring of 2021, hinted that her decades-long acting career may be over.

“Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on set,” Applegate told the Los Angeles Times February 7. “I don’t have that in me right now.”

“This is probably my last award show as an actor,” Applegate revealed, “so that’s a big deal.”
