Chrissy Teigen admitted a recent relapse of alcohol in a frank message on his sobriety trip.
The model vulnerably shared the news in a Post Instagram Toasing Tooning Thursday of its “conscious” podcast featuring Holly Whitaker, author of “Qul Like a Woman”.
Teigen wrote that she had “dreaded” the liberation and said it had “nothing to do” with her “incredible” guest.
“Holly Whitaker has changed my life, changed my perspective and changed my way of seeing the F-King beast that is alcohol,” she shared alongside a smiling selfie with the book, which she described in the podcast as a “powerful memory and manifest of recovery”.
“But having to admit to all of you: I let him return to my life,” she continued in the post. “To let you down a lot, oh I feel it deeply.
“I was so proud every time that one of you told me in the street that Holly and I made you want to rethink alcohol consumption, to crop alcohol,” said the old model of swimsuit Sports Illustrated, 39.
“I am still. The truth is that I don’t know what I do. I know a hundred percent that I love myself better sober. I know a hundred percent that I do more, I feel absolutely better in my body without him. Teigen, who publicly announced his sobriety trip to 2020, then shared the personal details of his relationship with alcohol.

“I hate that the idea of having a drink can consume me for a few days. So your rational mind is probably like “OK then stop, slut!” And God, do I agree!

Teigen wrote that she knows that sobriety is an improvement in her lifestyle and that she can attend a sober concert and always has “the biggest moment of all time”.

She revealed that she had been clean since she read the book a month earlier and called her “an incredible reading”.
Teigen has given regular updates on his trip since then, admitting in 2021 to “some hiccups (wines) on the road”. In January 2022, she again celebrated her sobriety with her social media followers.
“I have no idea what I do honestly, but I know a few things: I now have an endless energy, much less anxiety (more benzos!) … It’s pretty cool,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.
In July 2022, Teigen celebrated a full year of sobriety continued and shared that she felt “really good”.
During his episode of Podcast released Thursday, Teigen thought about his first days of sobriety.
“I loved the initial journey of being sober,” she shared. “And it was very big, and it was almost exciting. And fun.”
