Chris Partridge, the former assistant coach of Michigan who was dismissed in the midst of the meticulous examination of the university’s NCAA compliance, celebrated his “cleared” name.
Michigan’s ex-coach, who is now the seahawks of Seattle’s outside secondary coach, spoke of his dismissal in 2023 after Michigan was struck on Friday with a fine of at least 20 million dollars by NCAA in the alleged scandal of the volley of signs of Connor Stalion.
PARTRIDGE was dismissed two years ago for failing to “respect the university directive not to discuss an underway investigation into the NCAA with anyone associated with the Michigan football program”, according to their termination letter.

The new NCAA report said that Parridge will not receive any sanction in the scandal.
The NCAA noted that “although questions remain on the knowledge of Parridge on the unacceptable screening regime, there is not enough information in order to conclude reasonably that Parridge tried to influence a student-athlete to lie to the staff of the law application.”
In a brief but sharp statement, Partridge approached an investigation, claiming that he was “grateful” for the “in -depth” work of the NCAA.
Former coach Jim Harbaugh, who managed the team at the time of the alleged program, received a 10 -year presentation accounting penalty from August 7, 2028.
Michigan’s current coach, Sherrone Moore, received an additional suspension from a match for the opening of the 2026 season in addition to the prohibition of auto-imposed weeks 3 and 4.

ESPN indicated that Michigan fines are supposed to go to the assistance fund for NCAA students, which is intended to help the university athletes in division I “with needs that occur in college which are not outside the expenses covered by traditional scholarships”.
Partridge entered its second year in the Seahawks staff, a mandate that followed its year as a coach of the seconds of Michigan.
Previously, he had other roles in Michigan staff from 2015 to 199, notably the director of players’ staff and the special team coordinator.
He was also co-defensive coordinator at Ole Miss from 2020-2022.
