Chris Euank insists that he was still behind his son for his confrontation with Conor Benn – and that his threats to boycott the fight were a simple theater.
The former average weight champion said that he would be “never” in the corner of his son after having marked him “shameful” for slapping Benn with an egg at a press conference in February.
He even asked that the fight be canceled due to the fears of the combatants gaining weight, fearing that the fight would be “ against the law of boxing ” in an exclusive catch -up with Mail Sport.
Eubank shocked the world when he arrived on Saturday evening.

EUBANK JR (34-3, 25 KB) will be sentenced to a fine of $ 500,000 (£ 375,000) for its transgressions. It was the first time in his career that he has missed weight.

Eubank Jr shared videos of himself in a sauna costume, used to increase perspiration to lose as much water weight as possible.
Excessive use can cause extreme dehydration and heat exhaustion, hence the glove of Eubank Jr and the heavy appearance of bones – and the concerns of his father.
He was also seen lying in a sauna body bag, with only his exposed head. The machine is heated electrically at a set temperature and promotes passive perspiration without physical movement, causing even greater weight loss.
