The R&B singer, Chris Brown, was placed in pre -trial detention after appearing before the court accused of an alleged bottle attack in a London nightclub.
The American singer was arrested Thursday at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester and later accused of the alleged assault, which would have occurred at the Mayfair band club in London in 2023.
Brown, 36, would have used a bottle to cause serious bodily lesions to the music producer Abe Diaw.
The singer was in Manchester before his planned tour of the United Kingdom in June and July, with dates at the Live Arena co-op in the city in Manchester and at the Principality stadium in Cardiff.
During the audience, Brown, who wore black tracksuit and an ordinary t-shirt, spoke to confirm his full name as Christopher Maurice Brown and Date of Birth.
When asked to confirm his address, he said the Lowry hotel.
District judge Joanne Hirst told Brown that the case would be filed in Southwark Crown runs in London with the next hearing will be held on June 13.
She said that the nature of the offense of serious bodily lesions was too serious to be treated by a magistrate court.
Brown was to perform in Amsterdam on June 8, before going to Germany, then embarking on the dates of the United Kingdom.

A fan, who lives in Manchester, told the BBC that she had canceled her plans so that she could spend the day outside the court.
