An expert in health has identified a specific superfood which claims to erase the arteries “better than aspirin”. Dr Eric Berg DC, specialist in ketosis and renowned health educator with 13.5 million subscribers to her YouTube Channel, shared the advantages of this “number” food.

It is crucial to maintain clear and healthy arteries. The obstructed arteries restrict blood circulation. When the arteries are without obstruction, blood circulates more effectively, offering oxygen and nutrients to vital organs and reducing the risk of various health problems, such as heart attackblows and others Cardiac complications.

Atherosclerosis is a condition characterized by an excessive accumulation of plate in the arteries, leading to a complete blockage.

If this happens in the coronary arteries, it can trigger a heart attack, all blocking in the brain arteries can cause a stroke.

The substance accumulates in the blocked arteries is called atheroma or plate. It consists mainly of “bad” excess cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), fatty substances, cellular waste, calcium and fibrin (coagulation aid), reports Surrey Live. This accumulation occurs in the walls of the artery and can make them narrow or obstruct blood flow.

About 40% of heart attacks occur between 6 a.m. and noon. This period is intrinsically more risky due to an increase in cortisol and adrenaline, which can increase blood coagulation. It is the natural changes of the body of the body as a higher blood pressure and heart rate, associated with an improved coagulation chance, which amplifies the threat.

In his video entitled: “# 1 The best food to unclog the arteries”, accompanied by a proclaiming vignette: “Better than aspirin”, Dr. Berg told viewers: “Discover the best number one food in the world to help unclog the arteries and prevent a heart attack or a stroke.”

He points out that the super food is a natural artery cleaner without undesirable effects.

The main causes of arterial blockages include:

  • An abundance of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) can lead to disturbing plaque formation in our arteries.
  • A high blood pressure, notorious for its damaging effect on the walls of the artery, creates fertile soil for a new accumulation of plate.
  • Smoking pushes toxins in the blood circulation, injuring the walls of the artery and supplying inflammation, which, in turn, encourages the plaque to form.
  • The impact of diabetes on the health of blood vessels is deep, with high levels of sugar increasing the danger of plaque accumulation.
  • Obesity adds fuel to fire, triggering high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes, which all contribute to the threat of the obstructed arteries.
  • A sedentary lifestyle can trigger a cascade of problems, including weight gain and increased cholesterol and blood pressure, all enemy agents in the fight against arterial health.
  • If your immediate family members have been diagnosed with heart disease, you may be more at risk.
  • As we get older, the probability of developing atherosclerosis increases.
  • Persistent stress can trigger inflammation, which can exacerbate the accumulation of the plate.

Can aspirin help unclog the arteries?

Aspirin can help with the obstructed arteriesBut it does not directly treat the blocking. It is an antiplatelet drug that prevents blood clots from forming in narrowed arteries, which could cause heart attacks or strokes.

Aspirin does not eliminate the plate causing the blockages. Instead, it helps manage the risk of complications resulting from these blockages. Doctors often recommend aspirin to people who already have heart disease or who are at high risk of undergoing a heart attack or a stroke, especially after having undergone procedures such as angioplasty.

However, aspirin is not suitable for everyone, especially those without history of heart disease or an increased risk of bleeding. It is crucial to seek advice from a health professional before starting aspirin therapy, as it can cause side effects such as stomach bleeding.

What does Dr. Berg say?

Although aspirin is known to prevent heart attacks by bringing blood and reducing the formation of clots, it has side effects and may not suit everyone. Dr. Berg recommends eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), an omega-3 fatty acid, as a natural alternative that does not have the same negative impacts.

EPA is recognized for its ability to Reduce triglyceride levelsA type of fat found in the blood. High triglycerides can increase the risk of heart disease. EPA can help reduce non -HDL cholesterol, which includes LDL (harmful type) and other prejudicial cholesterol particles.

“”EPA helps prevent blocked arteries by making your pads less sticky. Research has shown that EPA can decrease blood comparable to low -dose aspirin, “said Dr. Berg.

“”EPA can stabilize vulnerable arterial plates by reducing inflammation. A 2019 study found that people who consumed EPA have experienced a significant reduction in the plate, reduced inflammation and fewer cardiovascular events. It can also positively influence your mood by reducing cortisol and adrenaline. “”

Dr. Berg cites salmon, mackerel, fatty fish and fish oil like some of the best sources of EPA. However, he suggests that there is an even higher source. “Cod liver oil or cod liver is the best food to naturally lead your arteries,” he said.

The British Heart Foundation highlights fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines and anchovies as excellent sources of EPA. Cod liver oil, oysters and certain white and crustacean fish also contain EPA.

Plant alternatives such as linen seeds, chia seeds and nuts provide ALA, which the body can convert to EPA, although not as effectively as EPA obtaining directly from fish.

Dr. Berg adds: “With EPA, cod liver oil contains vitamins A and D. The active form of vitamin A, retinol, helps repair internal tissue of the body. It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and can help reduce the atherosclerotic plaque.”

An animal study of 2015 entitled: “Aspirin improves the protective effect of fish oil against thrombosis and vascular reshaping induced by injuries”, notes: “Although aspirin is commonly used to prevent ischemic events in patients with coronary disease, many patients do not respond to the treatment of aspirin.

“Food fish oil (FO), containing polyunsaturated fatty acids Ω3 (AGPI), has anti-inflammatory and cardio-protectual properties, such as the drop in cholesterol and the modulation of platelet activity.”

Another study concludes that EPA can be more beneficialDeclaring: “EPA + DHA has more pronounced downward effects on inflammation and angiogenesis than aspirin.”

While recent studies indicate optimistic results, the effectiveness of Omega 3 has obtained variable results, thus requiring more research. Some authorities argue that Omega 3 has not yet equaled the effectiveness of aspirin, and they warn against stopping aspirin without the green light of your cardiologist or alternative recommendations.

Dr. Berg added to the discussion, emphasizing the merit of establishment vitamin on the basis of research: “In a studyOut of 1000 compounds, vitamin D was the most effective in preventing damage to the inner layer of the arteries. Vitamin D increases nitric oxide and the rigidity of the arteries. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory, stabilizes the plate, prevents rupture and decreases arterial calcification. “”

EPA fish oil (Eicosapentaenoic acid) is generally deemed harmless for the majority when ingested in recommended doses. However, it is crucial to be aware of potential adverse effects and drug interactions, in particular concerning certain drugs or pre -existing medical conditions.

It is essential to consult your health care provider before starting fish oil supplements to confirm their safety and relevance for you, especially if you have health complications or if you are under medication.
