China’s vehicle sales rose in March, rebounding from February

• Retail sales of passenger cars jumped 53% m/m
• China’s passenger car retail sales rose 6.0% year-on-year to 1.687 million units

The China Passenger Car Association said consumer demand recovered after the Lunar New Year in February.

BYD retained its title as the top seller of electric vehicles in March, with 301,631 units sold, followed by Tesla in second place.
