China’s military exercises around Taiwan are a warning for its president

China launched military exercises on Tuesday in Taiwan, sending warships and fighter planes in what Beijing said he was a warning to the President of the Island of Democracy, Lai Ching-Te, after calling China a “foreign hostile force”.

The Chinese, marine, air and missile forces “would come closer” to Taiwan and practice “the seizure of global control, strikes on maritime and terrestrial targets, as well as blocking and control of key areas and tracks” at sea, colonel senior Shi Yi, a spokesperson for the regional common media release.

Ms. Zhu distinguished a speech by Mr. Lai on March 13 in which he described China as a “foreign hostile force” and presented 17 measures which, according to Mr. Lai, were going to fight Chinese subversion and espionage in Taiwan. They understood the restoration of military courts for cases against soldiers who spy on and strengthen the surveillance of cultural, political and religious exchanges with China. Beijing says that Taiwan is its territory and that it will eventually absorb the island, by force if Chinese leaders judge this necessary.

Later, later, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense counted Chinese military weapons which approached Taiwan in the early afternoon: 71 outings by military aircraft, including drones and 21 navy ships varied around the island, including a group accompanying the Shandong aircraft carrier which was around 220 sea miles east of Taiwan.
