A fatal accident on the highway in the west direction killed two people and left two others, including a baby, with serious injuries early on Monday.
The single vehicle accident occurred west of Ramona Onramp Avenue around 2 a.m., and two people were declared dead on the scene, according to the Chino Valley fire district.
Images have shown the mutilated wreck on an embankment on the side of the highway. California Highway Patrol incident newspapers reported that an infant was found in the wreckage.
The infant and another person found in the vehicle were taken to a nearby trauma center with major injuries.
The tracks west of Highway 60 were temporarily closed. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
