An Ohio Chick-Fil-A has aroused indignation after sharing a controversial rule concerning adolescents just before the start of the school year.
The location of the popular chicken chain in Kettering, Ohio, published a statement on his “Chaperon policy for adolescents” on Wednesday.
“With the start of the school, we wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of our teenage policy,” wrote the company.
“We are grateful for your support and want to make sure that Chick-Fil-A Kettering is a safe and pleasant place for everyone!
Depending on the advice, customers aged 17 or less must be accompanied by a person over the age of 21 for dinner at the restaurant.
“Unaccompanied minors can be invited to leave,” says the message.
This post sparked an uproar of Chick-Fil-A fans who found this policy unusual and unfair to well-high minors.
“Quite sad that good children are punished,” said a woman.

“What would you say instead of a Chaperon policy, they say they have the right to withdraw anyone from his disruptive property?”
In response to his concern, the Kettering Chick-Fil-A said they had sent it privately.
Meanwhile, many agreed with her feeling, with a mother who interpreted to say that her son and friends were impatient to eat there after school.
“I also agree that if someone is a disruptor, he should be invited to leave,” she added.
Another user wrote that the store was going to “miss a lot of money before and after the matches”. She also called the move to ban minors who are not accompanied by eating a “big error” at the restaurant.
Although the application of politics did not go well with a lot of people – especially the parents of “well -high” teenagers – others were rassus with the restaurant.
“Many places move in this direction because your children are unruly and disrespectful,” wrote bluntly.
“Teachers continue to tell you. The coaches continue to tell you. The librarians continue to tell you. The police keep telling you.
The message shared on Wednesday (photo) indicates that no minor can dine at the restaurant without someone 21 years of age.
Another commentator said that she understood politics because of her own experiences dealing with disrespectful adolescents.
“When I worked in a restaurant in downtown Centerville, adolescents came every Friday and destroy our business by hundreds,” she wrote.
“Some children were fine but the group that was out of line was wild and ruined it for everyone.
“Everyone acts as it is the only company to do this when it is not the case,” added a man, shaking local commercial places that have similar policies.
A spokesperson for Chick-Fil-A explained Fox’s business policy, saying that each location has its own set of unique rules.
“The Chick-Fil-A restaurants are detained locally and exploited. This restaurant has established a policy specific to its location, which reflects that of the shopping center in which the restaurant is, ” it said at the exit.
The Kettering Chick-Fil-A is located in front of the town and country shopping center, which implemented a “Chaperon policy for adolescents” in January 2022, according to a Facebook announcement.
“Anyone under 18 visiting the city and country shopping center must be accompanied by an adult,” he said.

Other Chick-Fil-A locations, such as that of Royersford, Pennsylvania, have implemented a similar policy in February 2023, according to a Facebook declaration.
In his detailed message, the place of Royersford explained why politics had been expected for a long time.
The restaurant said that adolescents and unaccompanied children were too noisy, not throwing their food, did not respect workers and walked in driving.
“As you can imagine, it’s not a pleasant experience. We want to provide a comfortable and safe environment to our customers and our staff, as well as to protect our building, ”wrote the company of Royersford.
“Therefore, we cannot allow this to continue. Consequently, for dinner in our restaurant, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
