Chicago White Sox loses against the twins of Minnesota 6-1 in the final of the series

The twins of Chicago White Sox and Minnesota waited a rain period of 3 hours and 20 minutes before the first launch on Wednesday at the rate field.

During the storms, the Starter Sox Sean Burke did his best to make sure that he remained “above my business”.

“(I am) loose from time to time,” said Burke. “I am not too sitting. I felt good in the match. ”

Once the match is at the start, a few Burke cursors caught a little too much from the plate, which resulted in circuits for Byron Buxton and Harrison Bader.

Brooks Baldwin dominated the SOX, but it was the team’s only race in a 6-1 defeat in front of 10 193.

“The command of (the cursor) was not the biggest,” said Burke. “The two they hit (for home circuits) were only middle -middle sliders who are quite often struck when you throw them in these places. Coming back in halfway from last year, my greatest thing was that I want to be able to beat the guys in (the) area. I don’t want to fight. I don’t want to put the guys on the basis.

“So I think that (it’s) just to start again to be a little finer with some of these locations and not just throw them at the heart of the plate.”

Burke had a brilliant outing during the opening of the March 27 season against the Los Angeles Angels, launching six goalless rounds. He granted career summits in the races (six) and strokes (seven) in 4 1/3 rounds on Wednesday.

“Just a few throws have moved away from (Burke),” said Venable, director of Sox. “He ordered the quick ball well. I thought he had done a good job with the curve ball. Just a few locations that he had not been able to execute.”

Burke received a fear in the third when Matt Wallner’s lining to the mound hit him at the back of his right knee. He rocked it and stayed in the game.

“I don’t think it’s something too serious,” said Burke. “Probably being painful for a few days. I am not too worried about it.”

Between his four MLB appearances (three departures) last season and the opening of the season, Burke had only rendered two circuits.

The twins equaled this total on Wednesday. Buxton launched a 446-foot home run in the left center on a 3-1 cursor during the first round. It was the 22nd Home Run for Buxton against the Sox, his most against any opponent.

“He is one of the best players in this league,” said Venable. “He can beat you in different ways. And this circuit was quite impressive there. He is a good player. He will have an impact on the game.”

Bader connected for a three -point shooting on the left on a cursor on the first land with two fourth withdrawals. It was the second Home Run of Bader in the series.

The Twins added two other points on RBI doubles from Buxton and Ty France to the fifth.

The SOX had only three strokes – all in simple – in six rounds against the leaving of the twins Pablo López. Baldwin provided a brief spark in the seventh with a solo home run for the center right against the right -hander.

“First of all in the stick, I was there on the fast balls all the time (grounding), and the second at-bat, he launched me a good change first throwing and I went to the left,” said Baldwin. “So, going up there for the third to the stick, it is a guy who likes to enter the striking area very early, so I was sort of sitting on a change there to start there. So I got a raised in the heart of the plate (on the first land), put a good swing on it.”

López withdrew the following two strikers to finish its release. He gave a point on four sure with five stick withdrawals and a seven -round march.

“Just really clear,” said Venable about López. “We know that he has a good change and the cursor for right -handers (and a) very good quick ball tonight.”

The SOX lost two of the three in the series and finished their first house at home at 2-4. They have the same record as the other four teams from the Central American League – including twins.

“I think we played hard,” said Burke. “I think the effort everyone has been made was good. The pitch was great, the defense was great. The guys hit a lot.

“Today, we met a good launcher on their side, but in general, everyone has left the bat well and had good strikes even when we make outings. I think the first two series are encouraging.”

Injury update

The Mason Adams launcher underwent successful surgery from Tommy John Wednesday morning in a procedure carried out by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas, according to the SOX.

Adams, 25, went 7-5 with an MPM of 2.92 in 23 appearances (22 departures) between Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte last season.

It was diagnosed with a tension tension in his right elbow during spring training after leaving a match of the Cactus League on March 14 during the second round.
