Chelsea resumes her charge for a place in the Champions League next season with a London derby at home against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues will play their first match since the uninteresting defeat of 0 to 1 against Arsenal on the eve of the international break of March. Until now, it is from top to bottom for 2025 for the Enzo Maresca team, who must return to their first half of the season if they want to emerge on the right side of a very disputed fight for football of the Champions League in 2025-26.
The international break came at the ideal time for Chelsea, allowing the key parts of Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke to recover injury, they will all be available for the visit of Tottenham. The same cannot be said about Romeo Lavia, who confirmed that Maresca had another setback in what was a mandate in the grip of injury with the Blues for the Belgian international.
The Blues beat Tottenham 4-2 in the reverse match last December. With only nine games to play until the end of the Premier League season, each point is important for Chelsea in its quest to return to the largest European sport competition.
Here’s how Chelsea could line up against Tottenham to Stamford Bridge on April 3.
