Chelsea loanee, former Man United loanee, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane in Champions League team of the season

Jude Bellingham heads the XI of star players who made the Champions League Team of the Season.

The England star played a key role in Real Madrid’s journey to glory as the Spanish giants claimed the crown with a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley last weekend.

In his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu, Bellingham scored four goals and provided five assists in 11 matches en route to the final.

But he cannot claim all the credit for his 15th Champions League title, with three other Real Madrid stars also in the team of the tournament.

With Antonio Rudiger and scorer in the final, Daniel CarvajalVinicius Jr also made the XI.

The Brazilian made ten appearances for Real Madrid in the competition, scoring six goals and providing five assists on his way to glory.

Beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund also have four players in the team of the year, including Gregor Kobel and Mats Hummel.

Also included are Marcel Sabitzer, former Manchester United loanee and Ian Maatsen.

Dutchman Maatsen has joined Dortmund on loan Chelsea in January and played a key role in his team by slotting in at left back.

As well as Paris Saint Germain star Vitinhathe English duo Harry Kane and Phil Foden were also selected.

As well as a stellar season in the Premier League, Foden scored five goals to help Man City progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League – a run which included a superb goal against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

In the meantime, Kane scored eight goals in 12 matches for Bayern Munich in the Champions League to help them qualify for the semi-finals where they were also beaten by Carlo Ancelottion the side.
